The New iPod Touch – Why not 16GB?

I’ve been looking into buying an iPod touch and I am having a lot of trouble deciding how much memory I would want. Here are the options:

8GB

  • Retina display
  • HD video recording
  • Game Center
  • $249.00
 32GB

  • FaceTime
  • Retina display
  • HD video recording
  • Game Center
  • $319.00
 64GB

  • FaceTime
  • Retina display
  • HD video recording

I was very upset that there wasn’t at 16GB iPod touch. I was trying to figure out if it was a tricky marketing scheme to try and get people to get the 32GB instead. I know that if there was a 16GB iPod touch for about $280.00, I’d probably buy it. I’m not sure why they aren’t giving the option at all. I know that memory is something that’s very easy for Apple to change around. This is such a dilemma for me. I’m sure many other people are asking the same question.
